Juliet is the main character. She is a lot more ambitious in the movie, and cares more about living her life how she wants than caring what her parents think. "I'll look to like, if looking liking move." This quote shows Juliet will not let others determine her future, and this thought procsess could be shown more through Juliets character. Juliet could stand up for herself to her father and the nurse, and take control of her choices. |
Romeo is not as brave as Juliet, and he is too caught up worrying what his parents think than to truly be with her. Romeo is a lot more catious in my story than Juliet, which is why he avoids Telling Romeo or his father the truth, resulting in Benvolio getting suspicious and stating "i'll get his grievance or be much denied." |
The nurse is the villain. She is working for Juliet's parents and is there to control and make sure Juliet doesn't step out of line. The nurse knows Juliet will listen to her because she trusts and her and believes the nurse really cares for her. "Thou wast the prettiest babe that e'er I nursed. An I might live to see thee married once, I have my wish." This quote in my story could actually mean that the nurse will get what she wants when Juliet's parents request for their daughter, to get married so someone else can control her will be fufilled. |
